Curriculum vitae [Venice biennale]
     
  • 1997, personal show at Moderna galerija, Rijeka. Personal show “Observatorium” at Venice Biennale (Croatian pavilion). Exhibits in “Media in Media” Ljubljana, “LAB 6” Warsaw etc.
  • 1996, receives annual prize “Josip Racic” of daily paper “Vjesnik” for visual arts. Exhibits in the show “125 masterpieces of Croatian Art”, Zagreb. Participates in the festivals: London, Berlin, Bonn etc.
  • 1995, participates in Kwang-ju Biennale, Kwang-ju. Exhibits in Berlin, Zagreb, Warsaw etc. His videotape “I Love You/Montazstroj” receives The Prize for New European Cinema at Alpe/Adria Film festival in Triest.
  • 1994, a stay in USA, as visiting artist at Wexner Center for The Arts, Columbus. Exhibits in the show “Zentrum Zagreb” in W. Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg. Also shows in Zagreb, Berlin, Columbus etc..
  • 1993, exhibits in Toronto, Hannover, Kopenhagen, Dessau, Zagreb etc. Founds company Multimedia Lab for multimedia software development.
  • 1992, exhibits in the show “Art from Croatia”, Ernst Muzeum, Budapest.
  • 1991/92, guest lecturer at Ontario College of Art, Toronto.
  • 1990, a stay in Canada as visiting artist at Banff Art Centre and at Western Front, Vancouver. Retrospective of videoworks (with S.Ivekovic) at Art Gallery of Ontario.
  • From 1987-91 lectures video/tv directing at film department of Academy of Performing Art, Zagreb.
  • 1990, a major retrospective of video installations at Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb. Exhibits at the opening of Musee d’art moderne et contemporain, Nice.
